Disney on Ice Toy Story 3 was a smashing hit for the Boone kids!

It was so fun to watch the 3 oldest completely transfixed by the show. It really held their attention.








Lots of ice skating in the hallways at Selland Arena... Wyatt lands a triple lutz!
Even Lincoln loved it.






In true they-liked-the-box-better-than-the-toy (pun intended) fashion, the biggest hit of the evening was repurposing the ice from the Zamboni in the parking lot. Snowball fight!

Grandma's Tahoe Photoshoot...

For as long as I can remember, Mom has dreamed of having a photoshoot of all her granddaughters in white dresses running through the woods with crowns on their heads. We got pretty close in Tahoe this summer.

The girls are beautiful, of course...

...but the boys in their retro white T-shirts stole my heart. They were in heaven!

MBA Graduation...

Congratulations Paris! We are so proud of you.

For 18 months it felt like Paris did nothing but eat, breath, and sleep MBA textbooks. His hardwork and dedication have finally paid off! And we are SO very glad to have him back.

Nana and Granddad came out for the festivities.

Merry Christmas, 2010!

We love Christmas!

We love remembering the Savior's life

while creating new and lasting memories.
We've had such a wonderful year

and we know we are richly blessed.

2010 included an Anniversary getaway, pregnancy and bedrest, plenty of time with the Ryan family, LOTS of busy nights and weekends for Paris, Wyatt starts school, SWEET baby Lincoln, visits from Nana and Granddad, Morgan on a mission, Paris and George to China, Paris finishes MBA at Fresno State!, and a whole lot of fun.

It's Raining Men...I Mean, Boys!

Can you imagine the chaos, noise, dirt and fun that will surely

bombard Grandma's house for the next 18 years?

Brittany, Irene and I are each having a boy this summer (all within a month.)

Kathryn came over and sprung me from the couch long enough to have a preggo photo shoot.

Notice how relaxed we all look. For now. :)

Happy Father's Day?

Classic. The things a great father does for his kiddos.

Like spending Father's Day disinfecting the house and cleaning the aftermath of 3 kids and a bedridden wife with the stomach flu. Washing all bedding and all towels. Mopping, then mopping again, the again. Following kids around with buckets "just in case." Emergency Target run for lysol, chix soup, bleach and Gatorade. (We only fed the kids the soup and Gatorade.)

Not exactly the breakfast-in-bed-and-handmade-cards-before-wearing-his-new-tie-to-church kind of father's Day, but I think Paris proved why he's the best Daddy.

So let's get a little bit rowdy for P-A-R-I-S! Happy Father's Day.

11th Anniversary Getaway...

Anniversary 2010 - Cruise to Catalina and Ensenada

Catalina was our favorite.

We rode a tandem bike to the botanical garden and Wrigley Memorial.

(Succulents as far as the eye can see...Paris was in Heaven!)

It rained, so all the tourists re-boarded.

Then it cleared up and we had the island all to ourselves!

We hiked to the mansion and rode all over. It was fabulous.

Ensenada was, well, not as pretty. (We didn't even take any pictures.)

But we did have fun riding ATV's on the beach and Paris bought matching Nacho Libre and Mucha Lucha wresting masks for himself and the kids, so it worth debarking. :)

We especially liked the ping pong and mini-golf onboard.

Made some new friends at dinner.

(We lucked out and had a great group.)

All Because 2 People Fell In Love...

To paraphrase Cheaper By the Dozen,

11 years, 3 1/2 kids and many adventures later...

and we've still got the heat!
